Earth Day Celebrations

Come Celebrate the world wide Earth Day with us on our WalkAbouts along the Adams River. Resources include Fisheries and Oceans Canada personnel, Little Shuswap Lake Band Fisheries, BC Parks – Tsútswecw Park Staff, Secwepemc Fisheries, Pacific StreamKeepers, and Environmental Educators from The Adams River Salmon Society.

Learn and experience what salmon spawning grounds are; walking through the riparian areas; feeling the effect of a forest canopy, enjoying the many trails; using the picnic areas. Sitting on a bench along the riverbank contemplating the amazing Adams River Watershed and our Tsútswecw Provincial Park.

Everyone is being advised to bring a Lunch (earth friendly) and juice or water.
