Herald Provincial Park is a popular destination campground and day-use area. Swimming, fishing, cycling and bird-watching are popular activities, as is the self-guided nature walk to Margaret Falls. The park features a large grassy picnic area, playground, boat launch, campground, showers, and drinking water.

Gillespie Road Community Park is a scenic, waterfront park in Sorrento. Amenities include: a swimming dock, a picnic area, a designated swim area, and a vault toilet and garbage receptacles. 

The Shannon Beach Trail System is a 4km of hiking and biking trails accessible from the parking lot at Shannon Beach in Eagle Bay. The easier, lower loop features a unique forest rock wall. The intermediate + upper trail features a cross-country mountain bike forest loop.

The McArthur Heights Trail is a very steep and challenging climb up small sections of scree slope and exposed rock. The summit features panoramic views of Shuswap Lake over Blind Bay and toward Salmon Arm. The difficulty rating on this hike is Most Difficult.

Caen Road Park is a grassy park and day-use beach in Sorrento.  Amenities of this park include: picnic tables, a washroom, benches, swimming area, and hand-launch boat launch.

The Balmoral Trail System is a great hike with difficulty ranging from easier to more difficult, with options to complete a shorter loop, hike to the Balmoral Bluff viewpoint, or traverse all the way to White Lake (8km.)

An intermediate hike through mixed forest that ends with spectacular views of South Shuswap Lake and Copper Island. This hike is over 3km one way to the Mt Baldy Lookout.

John Evdokimoff Community Park in White Lake offers a wide variety of activities for park users. Amenities include: a playground, sports court, gaga ball court, and swing set. The park also features an impressive bike skills area and trail system, designed by the renowned Mountain Bike guru Jay Hoots.

The Cedar Heights bocce courts feature regulation Italian courts and Bocce balls. They are open to Cedar Heights members and the public.
