Shuswap Rock Rhapsody

Retreat to the beautiful Sorrento Centre campus and learn to paint the wonder that surrounds you. Shuswap Rock Rhapsody is a creative journey using acrylic paints and the Shuswap shoreline as the subject.

Josie’s gentle guidance will leave even the most hesitant artist pleasantly surprised. This program is open to beginner and intermediate students wishing to connect to the natural world through colour and realistic representation. Some materials will be supplied.

Students will learn about acrylic painting and gain confidence in their skills. They will be able to carry on this practice at home. The expression of our creativity leads to improved health, improved powers of observation and an exciting entry to “flow”, where time stands still and we are in our happy place. Concentrating on the natural world has been known to improve our immune system and lead to joy!
