An Evening with Harry Manx is a musical and lyrical blend by the “Mysticssippi Blues Man.” Harry Manx has spent years fusing eastern musical traditions with the blues, switching effortlessly between conventional guitars, harmonica, banjo and the Mohan veena—a 20-stringed instrumental invented by his Indian mentor Vishwa Mohan Bhatt.
Over the last 10 years, Manx has released 11 albums and earned seven Maple Blues Awards, six Juno nominations, the 2005 Canadian Folk Award for Best Solo Artist and claimed CBC Radio’s Great Canadian Blues Award in 2007.
